Roll-Off Dumpsters For Your Next Construction Project

Roll-off dumpsters are not only cost-effective, they can help you with your next construction project in a wide variety of ways. Namely in the areas of safety, efficiency, appearances and flexibility.

Safety

Dumpsters help prevent potential tripping and vehicle hazards by keeping debris safely contained. No worries about workers navigating around heaps of scrap materials or demolition debris. You can rest easy whenever any vehicles or visitors (homeowners, businesspeople, realtors, architects, and others) need to travel around the site, knowing nail-studded wood and sharp metal pieces are away in the dumpster.

Efficiency

You don't need to figure out how to haul away the scrap, where to dump it, maneuver heavy, cumbersome bags and bins or waste your time dealing with it. In addition, your crew saves time and effort by having a cleaner job site and clear pathways to move around. All of that helps you stay on schedule so everyone wins!

Appearances

Having waste contained to a dumpster makes for a neater, more professional looking worksite. If your project is in a neighborhood, keeping things tidy can help to keep neighbors happier during construction and remodeling work, and can mean less cleanup as a job finishes so your customers may find it less intrusive overall.

Flexibility

Roll-off dumpsters come in a variety of sizes to suit your project and worksite needs and schedule. Delivery can usually be on the same day, and we offer several dumpster sizes in addition to concrete washout containers.

Construction Dumpster Rental Sizes & Pricing

Roll-off dumpsters are available in multiple sizes to accommodate your needs and the space you have available for it. Dumpsters are measured in cubic yards (one cubic yard is 3 feet in height, length, and depth -- to visualize it, it's about the amount of space the average 3-seat sofa takes up). We're more than happy to help you figure out what size dumpster you need for your project, but here are some suggested sizes and projects they're appropriate for.

11' X 8' X 4'

Our 10 cubic yard roll off dumpsters hold up to 2 tons and are suitable for heavy material like asphalt and concrete, or smaller landscape project debris.

20' X 8' X 4'

Our 20 cubic yard roll off dumpsters hold up to 3 tons and are good candidates for roof tear-offs, smaller home renovation and remodeling projects, shed and garage demolition, and floor replacement projects

20' X 8' X 6'

Our 30 cubic yard roll off dumpsters hold up to 4 tons and are an appropriate size for large volume yard waste, new home construction, and other projects creating a lot of debris and waste

22' 8' 8'

Our 40 cubic yard roll off dumpsters hold a lot of trash and are an appropriate size for large volume yard waste, new home construction, and other projects creating a lot of debris and waste.

Holding 9 cubic yards, these containers are required on sites when pouring cement to avoid harmful washout from becoming an environmental hazard.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Can I move the concrete washout if I need to?

Roll-off dumpsters get their name from how they're delivered -- on a truck which must have access to pull or back in and roll the dumpster off the back of the truck at your chosen location.

Dumpsters can, in some cases, be equipped with wheels, or we can relocate the dumpster for you.

  • How much waste can be placed in the commercial dumpster?

Although dumpsters are generally priced by size, their capacity has more to do with the weight of what is disposed of in them. Imagine the difference in filling a dumpster with 10 cubic yards of leaves and branches or with 10 cubic yards of concrete or asphalt debris.

We are happy to work with you to determine an appropriate size and weight limit to match your needs.

  • Do you accept hazardous/medical waste?

Federal, state, and local health and safety regulations prohibit hazardous and medical waste from being part of regular waste collection, including in dumpsters.

Landfills have special processes for dealing with hazardous waste, and substantial surcharges and possible fines can be added if such materials are part of dumpster contents.

  • Will I be billed for extra tonnage?

Our low, straightforward pricing system includes free, on-time delivery and pickup and a standard weight limit. If you exceed our generous weight limits, there is a surcharge for the extra tonnage to reflect the higher charge at the landfill.

Of course, we are happy to work with you when choosing your dumpster to select the best size and weight limit for your project.

  • What can't I put in a construction dumpster?

We're happy to collect almost anything you want to get rid of that fits in one of our dumpsters. There are, however, some hazardous items and other waste that require special disposal so those can't go in dumpsters. Items prohibited from dumpsters include:

    • Propane, oxygen or other gas or fuels
    • Pesticides and fertilizers
    • Food waste or garbage
    • Asbestos-containing materials
    • Motor oil
    • Electronics - like TVs, computers, etc.
    • Pharmaceuticals & medications
    • Medical waste
    • Batteries
    • Tires
    • Liquid paint, oil, or most other fluid chemicals
    • Fluorescent light bulbs
    • Antifreeze

  • What can go in a construction dumpster?

Almost all construction and landscaping waste can go into a dumpster safely, including:

    • Framing materials -- wood and metal
    • Dirt, soil, gravel and rocks
    • Concrete
    • Asphalt
    • Drywall
    • Stucco
    • Plaster
    • Branches and stumps, sod, and lawn clippings
    • Toilets and sinks
    • Carpet and padding
    • Non-asbestos flooring
    • Insulation
    • Cabinetry
    • Lumber, plywood, particleboard
    • Railroad ties
    • Windows and doors
    • Hoses, piping, wire
    • Lots more!

  • How long do I get to keep the dumpster?

Standard dumpster rentals are for 30 days, and we can usually deliver it the same day you request it!

  • Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?

If you have space for a dumpster and the delivery truck can access that space to unload it, no permit is needed to put a dumpster in your yard or driveway.

Our 10, 20, 30 cubic yard dumpsters easily fit on most driveways. If that's not an option, many municipalities require a permit and often a small fee to have a dumpster placed on the street or sidewalk.

  • Where will my dumpster be placed?

Where would you like it? Seriously, we want to make this an easy process for you, and we want to protect your property, too.

We'll work together to place the dumpster in the most convenient spot we can access that has the lowest risk of damage.

  • Will the dumpster damage my driveway?

Most driveways easily accommodate a dumpster without problems. We're experienced and careful in our delivery and pickup to avoid damage as much as possible, too.

You can help limit the risk of damage, by putting down some plywood where the dumpster will be unloaded, to cushion and distribute the weight better. Also be sure to talk to us when planning your dumpster rental -- the weight of what you fill your dumpster with has a lot to do with the risk of damage, too.

  • Why would I rent a dumpster?

Do you have junk or debris to get rid of that's too much for your weekly trash collection?

Do you want to avoid making multiple trips to the landfill?

Do you want to leave the heavy lifting to the professionals?

Do you want to save time, energy, and money getting rid of your junk?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you already know why you should rent a dumpster.
